Education

Linda earned her B.A. in Clinical Applied Psychology from CSULB, with a minor in Women's Studies (Women, Gender studies).


She earned her M.A. in Clinical Psychology, with an Emphasis in Marriage & Family therapy from Pepperdine University. 1994


Linda went on to earn a post graduate, 2 year Certificate in Advanced studies in Psychodynamic Psychology at a Psychoanalytic Institute in Beverly Hills (SCPI, which has since merged with another institute, LAISP). 2001


She has participated in ongoing training after her licensure in 1997 as a LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist) including being trained in Evidence Based practices such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, includes the use of Imagery and Neuro Science guided interventions), TFCBT (Trauma focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), CPP (Child Parent Psychotherapy for children 0-5, an Attachment theory informed practice), and Seeking Safety (for trauma and substance abuse).  Linda has also completed trainings in IFS (Internal Family Systems) and continued EMDR related trainings.  As a professional, Linda completes the necessary continuing education required to renew her license.
